What we look for

Inner Pocket is selective and open about the work we want to support. We are especially interested in smaller, self-contained games that tell a complete story, whether they last thirty minutes or several hours. Most projects we sign need less than $75,000 in funding.

Most partnerships take one of two forms:

  • Last-mile investment to finish, polish, and prepare a nearly complete game for the release on Steam.
  • Support to turn a small prototype, game jam project, or itch.io idea into a complete release without making it bigger than it needs to be.

We care about complete experiences, not length for its own sake. We will not ask a team to pad a focused idea with extra content, artificial replayability, or more hours simply to increase its perceived value. We believe players value how a game made them feel more than how many hours they received for the price.

Work With Developers

The support we provide depends on the project and the stage at which we become involved. It may include:

  • Positioning and go-to-market strategy
  • Steam store page setup and optimization
  • Press kits, creator outreach, trailers, and paid marketing
  • Localization, functional QA, and release readiness
  • Platform relations and featuring opportunities
  • Porting or additional production support if needed
  • Knowledge sharing (both marketing and gamedev)

Our approach is practical, collaborative, and developer-friendly. The goal is to strengthen what makes a game distinctive.
